Since its beginning in 1995, AgroBioTek has offered the poultry, swine and bovine industries, laboratory analysis for the diagnosis of the most important infectious agents (see Laboratory section). As part of these laboratory services, AgroBioTek also provides laboratory personnel training on serologic diagnostic techniques and on the interpretation of results; as part of a comprehensive health program oriented towards the prevention of diseases brought on by field infections and thus, avoid unwanted economic losses.

AgroBioTek also offers integrated serological monitoring services for those Companies that would like to “outsource” such a service. We guarantee complete confidentially of results by the signing of a Confidentiality Contract. The serological monitoring services include:

• Serological analysis to monitor the presence of field infections and to evaluate the efficacy and cost/benefit of vaccination programs.
• Elaboration of computerized result reports.
• Elaboration of integrated reports every trimester with result interpretation and in- time trend analysis.
• Training for veterinary and laboratory personnel in the use of ‘software’ for the analysis and interpretation of results, in the context of a serological ‘base line’ response associate with high yielding lots.

AgroBioTek also has specialized personnel in molecular biology with extensive experience in PCR tests used to detect and identify infectious agents that affect the avian, swine, bovine and shrimp industries. Such molecular tests are first implemented and standardized in AgroBioTek’s laboratory and then implemented in our client’s laboratories, according to their individual needs. The implementation also includes personnel training.
